@Lennar sent another team of inspectors to look at our house. This will be the third time it has been inspected...more photos and measurements. Earlier this week, I received a call from a Divisional President, who is now taking an interest and coordinating things on their side. We have also scheduled our own structural engineer to give us a report. One step at a time. Getting everything in place. Hopefully they'll choose to make everything right this time. #lennarhomes #warranty #fail #texas

A love story that began when I was 18. I married the person I once believed I would grow old with, only to learn that sometimes the person you love can also become the source of your deepest pain. Walking away wasn’t easy. I carried years of memories, promises, disappointments, and trauma with me. But there comes a point when choosing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s survival. So I left. I chose my self-respect. I left behind the life I knew, moved to another city, and gave myself the space to heal f

First grade behaviors have been a LOT lately 😅 Tattling, arguing over materials, pushing in line, skipping spots… and with a class this big, it can feel overwhelming trying to address every little situation. That’s why I was so excited to partner with SchoolBeat! @Schoolbeat is a PreK–12 social-emotional learning platform with ready-to-use video lessons that model everyday situations and let students explore different choices. Teachers, just press play. No prep. More meaningful conversations, l

September 8, 2024. At approximately 3am the Chicago Police Department showed up to my sister’s house asking for a relative of a Michael Payton. They were there to deliver some of the worst news ever. Our brother had been murdered. Two years. Two years since my brother was murdered. Two years since one person made a decision that didn’t just take my brother’s life—it changed the lives of everyone who loved him. People say, “It’s been two years. You have to keep going.” And we do. But what people
